Rev. Richard & Regi Elleringon-Hofer started coming over from the UK to do mission here in Hossegor 10 years ago and have returned nearly every year since. They moved here permanently in 2012 and are now heading up the Surf Church plant team in Hossegor.
They were pastors in an Elim church in the UK for 13 years called Holy Trinity in Weston Super Mare. Richard is one of a team of national directors of the Elim youth movement called Serious 4 God. Rich and Regi met at Bible college where Richard did his degree in Theology and Philosophy. Regi has got a degree in general nursing and has vast experience in children’s and women’s ministry and speaks four languages. They have 3 children: Mani, Ayana-Jade, and Indiana. They are passionate surfers and snowboarders and love outdoor life.
