Surf Church Hossegor

Who we are

We are Surfers and local people who are discovering that faith is the greatest ride of life and is worth exploring. We are committed to following Jesus and trying to make a real difference in the world around us. We are not perfect; we don’t have all the answers; but we have found something-life changing in having a relationship with Jesus.

Our Vision

We are united around a common vision :

For surfers

We are passionate about riding waves, and surfers are truly linked by this amazing sport. Surfers love the wonder and power of the sea; we are very spiritual by nature. We hope to create opportunities to share our passion for the ocean, life and faith!

For the community

Vision means seeing! And what we would love to see here in Hossegor is the incredible love of Jesus being demonstrated to the people of Hossegor. It doesn’t matter if people have faith or not, we are all connected in life together, and our hope is that we can share kindness with people. We would love to create ways to bless, help and value people through our words and actions.

For the church

We are creating a community of people who are loved and have the opportunity to love others as they explore faith and life together. We are becoming a church with great music and preaching and mission where everyone has a part to play.

Our Beliefs

We share a set of beliefs known as our Foundational Truths. The Foundational Truths explain our theology and are a statement of faith – they are powerful, non-negotiable and guide all we say and do.

As part of the Elim denomination our beliefs are inline with what can be found on the main Elim website
